2011 has thus far been busy and full of many outdoor adventures!

Here's some of what we have been up to.

Brother and sister, best friends.

Sarah & Thomas and a friend built a snowman on a nature walk when the weather was 7*c, then covered the head with bird seed and watched the chickadees and nuthatches feed off their snowman feeder.

The birds also ate right over our hand and hats!

Pizza Party with friends! From making their own funny shaped pizzas and covering them in their favourite toppings to chowing down while they danced in their chairs, the wee ones definitely had a fun evening.

After supper, the kids all adjourned for a little Goofy, the calm lasted all of ten minutes before the hyper play started up again

Thomas went to a birthday party where they did some splatter painting ... this is what they looked like coming out of the painting station

Sarah's new dance outfit courtesy of our wonderful neighbor ... Sarah loves the outfit, dancing, music, performing, shaking her booty, etc.!

The first week of February had us out on the canal where Thomas skated for almost 7km and Sarah begrudgingly hitched a ride!

Family time is always fun time ... especially when beaver tails are involved

The kids and Mommy went for a sleepover at Doo Doo's place - Thomas and Sarah were VERY excited!

Thomas especially loved riding the 'underground' metro, and running in the underground tunnels!

Before we went home, Thomas got to enjoy the view from the balcony and left Doodoo a special message!

Sarah got a doctor kit for Christmas, and gave her doll a check-up.

Playing in the snow never gets old ...

Neither does playing with paint!

January meant many a visit to the Griffiths Homestead for skating, hot chocolate and good old fun!

Thomas' bedtime has increased from 7pm to closer to 9pm ... he goes into his room at 7pm and then wants to play with his toys for hours
