MAY 2009
Sarah looks on as one month old Jeremy opens his gift
How do you get 4 kids and one baby to the not so nearby park when there are only 2 adults? Thank goodness for double strollers (baby Jeremy is in a seat behind Thomas)
Thomas & Emily race down the slide
Taking turns climbing up the long ladder and going down the long slide was where the kids (and thus Jen & I) spent most of the time at the park!
Poor Sarah is the only one who didn't get a turn on the big slide, but not for lack of trying to climb the ladder!
Thomas and Sophie had fun making birthday cakes out of sand, after which Sophie serenaded us with the happy birthday song both in english and french!
Thomas had no fear climbing this contraption, I on the other hand ...
Yet another play structure at the fantastic park in St Lazare, this one boasted in wobbly bridge which Thomas found fun
Black fly season at the cottage meant bug nets for all ... whenever Thomas wanted to head outside he would state, "me need my bug coat"
Sarah getting an early morning snuggle from Pops and Grams
Smiley face
Thomas has wanted his boat out for a few weeks and today the weather was warm enough for the splash pool and thus the boat
Sarah loves the sandbox, especially eating the sand, yuk!
Mommy and son
Grams and her grandkids
Pops and Thomas driving the ATV
Yes, even Sarah has a bug net on
Thomas and Sarah sharing the lap table (Sarah had it first, but didn't mind sharing when Thomas pulled his chair next to hers)
Thomas in the rain testing out his new umbrella
Daddy with Mischief & Trouble
Daddy and daughter
Thomas and his friend Avery at the Experimental Farm
Sarah loves play houses
Thomas on a demo tractor at the Experimental Farm ... by moving the gears the tractor actually bounces up and down with lots of noise ... Thomas was in heaven!
Sarah got kissed by the calf.
Mommy with Thomas and Sarah
Playing in the park after seeing many tractors and animals
Trying to be an efficient mommy: Exercise overweight Hobbes, give Thomas and Sarah their snack and cross fingers that at least one of them will take a nap if I bike long enough!
CURLY LOCKS (au naturel)
Jump!
Not wanting help from Mommy as the noodle tied around his waist held him up enough for his dog paddle to get him where he wanted to go (albeit rather slowly)
Considering we started this month off with both kids being sick, again, we are especially happy that Thomas is now out of diapers (except for at night)!
Thomas waited patiently with his own tool box for a chance to help Daddy and Grandpa
The Griffiths' men at work
Thomas took Sarah for a "ride" on the old tractor
Grannie visits with Sarah, who moments later decided to eat the yummy sand
Thomas and Sarah found a neat "cave" in the play structure. Thomas made a cake for Grannie here and even put "candles" it.
Thomas brought his sand cake to Grannie
Sarah sharing with Pops
Thomas "helping" Sarah play
Peek-a-Boo (sort of)
