COTTAGE CONSTRUCTION

The cottage was originally built around 1956 by Pam's maternal great grandparents on a private lake in the Laurentians.  The current cottage already had a glassed in extension off the front put on in 1999. This was designed and primarily built by Pops and all of his helpers (aka family and friends)

* Photo updates are added at the BOTTOM of the site to keep the chronological order correct.

The plans to double the size of the Hyde cottage are finally underway! First step .... demolition!

The new water pipe was lowered 2 feet in the ground so that the water will still run through the pipes from the lake to the cottage in the middle of the winter, just in case we want to go skiing in the Laurentians!
