Today is Halloween. Thomas will be dressing up and going to a handful of neighbors houses to show off his costume ... which he chose himself. Swimming classes have been going better and better. On Monday, I was able to put Thomas' head under water 5 times within 5 minutes without any crying. Now when Derek gives him a bath he loves to scoot onto his tummy and attempt blowing bubbles. Thomas is as busy as ever, especially now that he can more or less run. This is not working in Hobbe's favour as Thomas now loves to run after Hobbes trying to "pet" (hit) him. Poor Hobbes.

With the drwall up, paint on and carpet in, not to mention doors hung, this half of the basement is now a great playroom for Thomas!

Thomas has been enjoying trying out different ways of "creating art". From pencils and markers to paint and papier mâchë, no matter what he uses he ends up a mess!! As I updated this page he is at the coffee table with a pot he has taken from the kitchen and is pretending to eat from it. He's also attempting to feed Hobbes his make believe food, poor Hobbes.

Thanksgiving has come and gone, and the cool weather has finally set in, for what seems like, for good. Thomas had a fantastic time at the cottage playing outside and an even better time chasing his older cousins around after Thanksgiving dinner. Thomas Auntie Tina once again played an amazing role of "paparazzi" and in doing so supplied most of the photos below! Thomas has also begun swimming "lessons" again and has joined a once a week playgroup where he wanders (rather quickly) from toy to toy.
